- That’s a pretty narrow way of looking at it. Just because the game is missing a campaign doesn’t mean it should cost less. The time they would have been investing in developing the campaign is being spent on the multiplayer to make that aspect of the game better. Ultimately you nor I can say how much money and dev time is actually being put into the game but at the end of the day what does that matter to us if the game comes out and is super polished. We’ll see what happens I hope for everyone’s sake that is the case because software development lifecycle is vicious.
Anyways back to campaign… if you go to the official site there’s already a good amount of lore there and there was a dev interview where they mentioned that some of the game modes would have a story. We just don’t know the extent of that yet. Just be patient and wait for more info.

I played 8 hours of campaign, maybe, and 1200 hours of MP and still going. No campaign doesn't really make a difference.

"Same Price. Less Game. No Thanks."
Same people. Same rants. K bye.
Uhm, I dont agree. I paid full price for BF4 and when I count how many hours I played I got my moneys worth several times when it comes to entertainment.
BF1 I installed played an evening, said "Yuk" and didnt feel it was worth my money same went for BF5 - so naturally I didnt find it worth the money.
But thats the chance you got to take,
I learned as much as not to preorder, but thats about it, I will wait a while and listen to community, my friends at the clan and then make a choice and it wont
be the price that concerns me. If I can get a year (or more) of fun, then 60 bucks is ok.

That is blatantly false, stop spreading lies. I actually believe the "no campaign" will add much more value to this game, for me anyways. Never found shooting blind bots much fun.

After the Bad Company games, the campaigns have never really bothered me. Only played those if any unlocks were attached to their completion.
- @Elph13 I don't like fuel or lumber or vehicles aren't the same cost as they were in 1930......but, you can't logically say just because there's no campaign, $60 isn't a standard cost for 'big box' games in today's world, dude.
The game will have single player and coop modes. It won't have a singleplayer campaign.
So PVE with friends in BF 2042 doesn’t count as a coop mode? Also, BFV didn’t have a coop mode until way after launch, barely anyone plays, and the matchmaking is awful.
