Was playing a couple of days ago and came off an elevator to face 2 opponents. I killed one and then the second, who was playing as Sundance, got me. I then watched them go over to the opponent I shot and revivied him with paddles. It is my understanging that only Angel and Faulk have this ability.What am I missing here? I did not think you could pick up an entire kit, just the primary weapon of a dead player.

Any player can revive if they are on the same squad, this includes sundance.

Saw something in game that is suspect

@Ahhnuld They could have been in a squad together hence why they were able to revive them.

Thanks all, I was not aware of that capability. Defeats the purpose of having medics and specialized kits, IMO.

@Ahhnuld Kind of and there was similar feedback when the system was introduced in BFV. There are some slight benefits still though as the 'Medic' specialists revive quicker, can also revive players who aren't in their squad and other things like reviving players to full health or giving them armour.

My squad last night blew op a bolt then proceeded to watch the driver seemingly get out after the explosion like terminator!
I just turned it off after that lol I had seen enough

I like the balance in 2042 with the specialists and the medics. Where I think they messed up is that the game decides when the paddles come out, not the player. If the player were able to equip defib paddles like previous versions we wouldn't be stuck with the revive glitch when a body is against an object.
