I'll admit I was rather slow to realise one of the three grips for the sniper rifle was a flashlight!
But yes, assuming it was just normal enemy glint I saw from across the map, it was rather severe. Did it vary any between reflecting (facing) the sun or not? Did glint stop during the tornado darkness?
