Season 4 Custom Portal XP with PVP AI, confusing . . .

So I'm really confused about the wording of the update, can anyone clarify . .

"Custom Portal experiences that have PvP AI (but not PvE) and no other change than to the map list will have Ribbons XP enabled, Mastery Progression up to Tier 12 and Weekly Missions enabled instead of the usual Restricted XP."

Does this mean I can't choose which factions are available? So if I want to play on Arica Harbor, I have to use BF3 factions?

I can't change the time limits?

I can't change the difficulty of the AI, or set AI to Mixed?

Seems kinda lame, if it's THAT restrictive.

I can understand some modifiers being restricted like health, and damage and things that would make it easier. But what if I want NO HUD?

    @Alphariuz-II Yup, pretty much.
    If you want to receive the moderate XP, the progression to tier 12, full ribbon awards and access to weekly missions, you cannot touch any settings at all.
    The only thing you can adjust and change is the map rotation.
    So basically, you can create a bog standard CORE server and adjust ONLY the map rotation.
    If you adjust any settings at all, progress will be restricted ti XP only.

    And if you didn’t know, this is actually available to use right now, so you don’t have to wait until Tuesday when season 4 drops to do this.

    And yes, I also think this is lame.
    It’s good that they are giving more progression to portal, but they pretty much then stick two fingers up at us by preventing us from changing any settings whatsoever.

    So basically what we have, is exactly the same as playing a solo/ coop match but with the added ability to add a map rotation.
