7. The visual recoil isn't as bad as I was expecting, but really question if it was needed in the first place.

Not wishing to stir any animosity in here as I seem to be the only user (or others are silent on the topic perhaps feeling intimidated to dissent) that actually enjoys and loves the new recoil: it was sorely needed as I could take out snipers ~50–70m away with an LMG.
I’d say, nearly odds-on that the one reason many are disliking the new recoil is that they enjoyed the zapping, laser-beaming from miles out… (which, granted, each to their own preferences.)
Every kill now feels hugely satisfying and rewarding, as effort needs to be put into downing someone. Skill-level has been increased: tap-firing now needs mastering. Simple as.
The new map is ok but will need more time to really feel it out. The recoil change however will be preventing me from feel out the new map. Not a fan at all of the recoil. I think it just too much visual movement of the barrel and sight. Might just have to run a hipfire shotgun to be able to continue play.
What a POS the new map is.
Once again you can get shot from pretty much all angles all the time.
I’m not gonna waste another second playing it.
* New map is crap. Flat, washed out graphics with horrible simple design (looks like something from the 90s), way too small with 64p. Copy and paste everywhere. You recognize terrain from the other maps. We played 1 round and went back to 128p CQ.
* What happened to the arms and position of the gun? The left arm is blocking the sight and it feels like the weapon is implanted in the mouth/cheek.
* Visual recoil = Horrible. We tested the bullet pattern on the wall. LMG and AR shoot a perfectly straight line from bottom to top. SMG is all over the place. Looks like you have shot a shotgun on the wall. Bullet holes everywhere.
* Instakill with LMG and AR in close range. Easily outperform SMG in almost all scenarios.
* Driver sight in the armoured vehicle is off. If you shoot were you aim = Shell hits way below crosshair. Need to compensate so heavily that the sight just becomes a thing more than a tool.
6 months to produce this sad excuse for an update? Oboy...you really lost it Dice or did you co-op with the apes on "Skansen" because this pile you squeezed out can´t have been made by humans.
You, Dice, should have focused on the existing problems and not implement things that wasn´t asked for and by that create more problems.
In this state and how you, Dice manage things you have to pay me to install the next Battlefield.
I wish you, Dice could understand how bad you actually are and what an low level you are performing at. You are working blindfolded in an closed enviorment refusing to take in critical and crucial inputs from Battlefield Veteran players that has been playing the series from the start.
Shut the business down and sell cookies instead. That you can´t fail...or?
My final thoughts after 6 hours of back to back play.
I mean its not a great map but its ok, at this stage of the game its something we are going to have to "like it or lump it" zero chance of any rework.
Breakthrough-As an attacker every game we won, and not because the other side were bad, defenders seem to have a habit of camping high to get kills then just retreat.
Conquest-Played some really good games, zooming in and out the alley ways in the ram, taking out campers in buildings then having them chasing you because their mad is really good fun, but is just a camp fest.
Other useless points
1) Had my regular arch nemeses in a nightbird chase me trying to get me with the air to ground i feel that this vehicle balance is good just had enough time to duck, repair, replenish APS/Flares, then got accused of c****ing in the ram because i should be an "easy kill" hahaha.
2) Ram can go underwater completely submerged in one of the tailing ponds, the aim receptacle is off, using the missiles/100mm feels off either been nerfed with the splash damage, turret movement also feels out of sync.
3) I think adding an LATV/Pond hawk for vehicle deployment should be considered-
4) Its not really a "tank map" and if you ventured into the urban areas your days were numbered, the TOR is useless and the fact people spawned it and were trying to get kills in it was just mind boggling.
5) Fixed AA is a deterrent if anything-AA needs to be a deployable vehicle or relocate the AA.
6) Been mentioned before-not all buildings are destroyable and even the ones that are you cant flatten.
7) DICE WTF happened no weather changes...no sand storms and only a hand full of sea containers which you either cut in half to make hidey holes. But seriously i think a sandstorm would've given this map a little edge.
Played one game on BT for the new map so this is my literal first impressions:
Visual recoil: Feels bad. Gunplay isn't changed, it just looks like we dipped our hands in olive oil before going into combat. A fair number of combos seem objectively broken and not functioning properly and this feels more like a beta test.
Haven: In isolation, I like the map overall. It's a nice urban map with a pretty good looking mix of dense structures and smaller open areas! Except that specialists, or at least a few of them, fundamentally break all of the map flow. More specifically, Mackay, who has been a problem since launch, completely breaks the flow of Haven and makes the map a nightmare. You literally cannot predict where Mackay will be because he's not bound by the same paths almost everyone else is, he can zip around and flank impossibly fast with his short cooldown grappling hook and inherent speed advantage. His kit never should have existed in the first place, and this is the first map that truly highlights how fundamentally broken it is on many levels.
BT felt like * as defender because you don't seem to get any armor until the last sector. Again, BT feels like an afterthought layout with zero meaningful testing done to ensure it feels remotely balanced.
Battlepass: Sucks that they're keeping the glacial pace or Pip progress, feels like * to get a ton of XP from your first match and not even progress a single rank. BP content itself is super mid, with too many epic skins and other things that look like minor edits of existing epic skins. it's fine to do pallete swaps for rare skins, who cares, abut come on now.
I was leaning on hope that the system changes to recoil and vehicles would make up for lack of content at launch, despite the delays. I'll wait to play some more for a proper opinion, but so far from that first match alone it doesn't feel like this is a very good update. Maybe 7.2 will save it rofl.

Yes, the extreme number of angles is a real pita. Too bad they removed Redacted a much better map.
Please revert the C5 changes, it is unnecessary
