I assumed that we would be getting two maps next week with the start of season 7
This reads as if it will be only one the start with !?!?! 🤨 ☹️

Correct, the stadium map and the LCMG will be added as the mid-way-through-season content drop on/around v7.2 I guess.

The amount of time between map releases in BF2042 is unprecedented. It has been 21 (or is it 22) weeks since we have actual new content. By the time we get the re-worked stadium it will be almost half a year. Keep in mind that most of that reworked map is already created and all the assets a re-used. How can it possibly take this long to re-work a single portion of a map?

It doesn't, it's part of the scheduled dripfeed of content to release half-way through a season to get people to come back. Jeff Gerstmann was talking about it on his podcast a week or two ago similarly for CoD, the only difference is that CoD's is more than a single map and gun halfway through (I wouldn't know as I don't play CoD/follow it)

In regards to the Wildcat changes:
We are removing the lock-on that exists on the Y-axisSomeone help me out. What does that mean?
- MackTKau2 years agoRising Ace@AngrySquid270 The wildcat AA missile had infinite vertical lock on range. Air vehicles used to camp high in the sky and were impossible to shoot otherwise.
DICE reduced the sky ceiling and think that's enough of a 'fix' to nerf the Wildcat again.
