Guys, the SFAR buff was unnecessary, it's out performing every other assault rifle in the game. This is ridiculous now. Please review this gun and balance it with other AR's. I'm tired of getting 2...

AC42 and AK24 need a MINOR buff. M5A3 can actually outperform the SFAR when equipped with HP rounds and shortened barrel
@Metal_Daryl97 Yes I tried out the AC42 again and it is pretty bad right now.
This is why I get worked up when someone starts a nerf thread. When DICE nerfs something, they more often than not make it not worth using (with the BSV-M being the exception)

- @UP_Hawxxeye I think the AC-42 is in a good spot. I went 50-13 with the gun the other night. The only thing about the AC-42 at time it feels like the ROF is really slow when burst firing.

@CarreraLuuyeah if I am to use a weapon on single fire all the time I might as well pick a DMR. I somehow love burst weapons and do not like how it performs on burst.
It is the 3 bullet burst weapons that always perform the worst. The 2 bullet burst ones are generally butter
AK needs a massive buff
I posted some data a while ago to justify a minor buff for the ac42 - unsurprisingly, it got completely ignored by dice.
The ac42 has an unnecessarily high TTK within the 30-75 m range - it's roughly 150 ms higher than the SFAR's/M5A3's TTK. Considering how unforgiving it is at close range (there's a roughly 225 ms delay between bursts), the AC42 should perform particularly well at mid range. When shooting at a moving target (strafing or running) within the 30-75 ms range, often only a single bullet from a burst will hit the target because the subsequent two bullets are shot after a 75 and 150 ms delay.
IMO, either the RoF should be increased, with the delay within and between bursts reduced OR the damage drop-offs should start at greater distances (considering that it has a significantly slower RoF than the SFAR). Also, the hipfire accuracy should be increased because it's far easier to hit target when hipfiring full auto weapons while moving
