that would be cool
- @Degree234 What about vehicle munitions that would normally explode a person in pieces, does that count too? Or shots that pierce the heart? Simply because its a game and not a simulation
- @fragnstein Lol games have rules you goof
- @Degree234 For this type of game (conquest/rush), I would say no. If you were going more akin to Sandstorm/Tarkov then yes. The issue is balance and pacing that can be difficult if you discern between headshot and body shot. A hit to the heart is just as deadly/permanent as a headshot.

we had that in BFV at some point and if i remember correctly a lot of people got frustrated with it really fast.
i hated the entire entirely at the end of the day BF is an arcade game and i know for a fact BF1 didn't have the mechanic not 100% sure about BF3 or BF4 but i doubt it was in these games either.
i don't need it revives are already spotty as the game is no need to make it even more of a hassle for everyone involved
All very good points, but I'm still used to BF3/4 rules where if you get shot in the head, you can't be revived (assuming this was removed from BF titles after 4, I haven't played one since 4). I understand that it's just a game and DICE is probably going a different route, and maybe there are ways to save people who get shot in the head in the future, I don't know. Just wanted to get my two-cents in. I thought it made sense at the time

You can be revived after a headshot in BF4 @Degree234. Hardline was the last game, to my memory anyway, where headshots disabled revives in the core game.
- @ElliotLH Oh... I forgot lol. Well if that's the case then I'm sure I didn't think of it when playing back then. Doing research, apparently you could revive headshots in 3 as well... Well with so many tickets I'm sure not being able to revive would help lol
- ElliotLH4 years agoHero+@Degree234 The number of tickets probably would be fine if headshots were unrevivable, it could also give an incentive to go for headshots. On the other hand I'm not sure how well it'd be received by the community at large. It's a difficult one.
- Kyosji4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Degree234 You should also be suppressed if someone is firing at you while snipping, but that's not a thing in 2042 either for some reason. Used to be a person could stand a chance with a known sniper in the mix by unloading your clip in their direction and suppress them to make it harder to see/hit you.....nope, you're just dead if there's a sniper than knows where you are and you have no where else to go but through their fov.
