I agree with what you just posted. I was looking to see if I could reduced the sizing in game but to no avail.
I don't get why we need constant floating icons on the screen of an fps game that block key real estate of the screen. seriously, who the * thought this was a great idea.
Dude I have been killed so many times because (A1) is covering the person in front of me. There should definitely be opacity options or size adjustment. I mean we have our map, and currently the main modes are core so there needs to be a way to get them off the screen, a timeout or something
- @BaronVonGoon That was one of big complaints when beta was out! Why the hell that wasn't addressed?!
Just like to keep this thread floating on the top. Obscuring the forums, like the objective markers.
The wierd thing is that there was a setting for opacity in the open beta but it’s gone now.
I’m sure of this because I had the same issue then and was able to reduce the opacity but not size of the icons.

- @BaronVonGoon This is my biggest complaint to date with the gameplay, especially on the conquest large maps. Hope they hot fix a lower opacity soon and ultimately give us an opacity control.
- i was excavating through the entire options menu just to find where "objective icon opacity/size" was. they have every other option here like "vehicle aim scale" and "horizontal ratio" controls that probably only 3 people would really need. what I MYSELF would really need is to be able to spawn on my little green friend on the map so i can spawn right next to the objective OR next to my perfectly-placed beacon. instead the massive, fat, huge gigantic "C1" or "A2" has a bigger landmass than most countries. so i keep accidentally spawning on the "objective" (the trademark "200m from the actual objective" kind of spawn) and we lose or im lasered by some camper setting up to kill exactly those who were spawning outside. id really like to reduce its size to at least a 10th of what it is now. its way too big and prevents precision spawns to defend caps
- ATFGunr3 years agoLegend@BaronVonGoon Not sure how I missed this one back in the day, but it’s still true and I’d also like to see the opacity control added for all the reasons listed above.
