There are too many snipers in fps especially Battlefield series and triple that for COD. The game dosen't flow due to being put in a situation where you have no defense, dreaded head shot from no where. What made Black Hawk Down a great movie was the grind not the sniper play...there weren't any. So our one chance to limit how many snipers are on the map is to sign a petition with your screen name and hope the real players can be heard. I will be the first.

I made the post because all I play are Military first person shooters. I dont hunt zombies, or alliens, mess with the Mario brothers, out run Sonic the Hedgehog, cast spells, or rob banks and steal cars. I just do military fps...I am simply telling you the most frusrating aspect of all the ones I have played and logged many hours. I hate the people that run around rambo style just as much and I am not complaining about those but a solution to that would be to increase the time to ADS from a sprint, it would make them peek corners more but thats a whole other topic...I loath snipers...it ruins game flow. I dont care about being out reacted, or outplayed, i makes me want to get better. But any noob can snipe, thats the problem. No defense against someone waiting for you to pause a second. Lets do something different at least once.

Sometimes you look at the map, look at the squads, look at ALL THE ENEMY OWNED objectives, and you see Blueberries scattered around, bravely watching your team lose through a 20x scope.
Fine, why not share the love of a ruined experience? There are lots of ways to rain on thier campsite, so to speak. Switch to thier squad, spawn on them, smoke em out, empty your LMG clip at a passing enemy helicopter or tank to get thier attention. You're going to lose anyway, have fun chasing them around.
I've had many quit, some switch teams, and nearly every time, leave before the next match starts. You can't stop selfish players from playing like they do, so grief them, it's been a mini game if mine ffg or years.- 4 years ago

Just saying.

You can add rat droppings to rocky road ice cream and that won't make it taste better, but it would be so much better without it.
- 4 years ago@DDouble_Tap02 If you want realistic fps game go to Arma III. Even tho Battlefield may seem more realistic than other fps at first its still meant for fun and lowkey arcade.

I do get that, but as the saying goes because you can do something dosen't mean you have to do something....there is nothing wrong with having a variety of options for the same game. Let the people decide and if there is a a non sniper rifle mode and people want to play it, it can only help the franchise...it certainly can't hurt. If Baskin Robinson only had 1 flavor, they would not have lasted long. 31 flavors is the reason why they are still here. Battlefield should try some different flavors that's to see what the people think Is all I am trying to convey.
