Disclaimer: Didnt like the BF's after 4, so didnt really play them, just felt like a skin of SWBF's (which strangely i enjoyed). I play on Xbox EU.
This is a bit like the old PTFO threads from back in the day...one i probably would have started lol.
But after all the years running, tanking, healing, supporting...im worn out man.
I now snipe mostly, from a reasonable distance. Normally (if possible) on top of (or near to) the enemies gimme flag, spawn beacon and motion sensor.
I think anyone who has played, knows how helpful that can be. If im in a decent squad, we can really turn the tide of battle.
I feel the hatred of snipers on the battlefield.
Ive felt the anger of that transport chopper, full of a squad landing on me.
Ive felt the rage of every bullet spammed at me. The C4 jeep, the flying paper plane thingys, mortars etc, etc.
But i love it. Nothing gives me greater pleasure in BF4, than sniping someone in the face...fully aware there's probs gonna be consequences.
I never prone, i never stand still (except when taking the shot). Which is the only good advice i could give if your having problems with snipers.
Im also not a great sniper, i can hold my own against other snipers, but im always getting wrecked by assault rifles, and vehicles. If i miss...i die.
I cant help but feel the OP, is just salty because he cant aim a sniper.
CQC with a sniper?? Nah man, thats like suicide over n over. MTAR and my trusty Desert eagle (i have to run at least one skill weapon) is for that.
