So Assault Rifles Rule Again....Shotguns and LMGs are Garbage.

This is getting old EA.  People are beaming with assault rifles yet again while shotguns, even the auto are taking 3 to 4 shots in close range.  That is stupid.  LMGs are a non-issue because they have way more recoil than assault rifles and arent near as effective at close range OR long range as an assault rifle.  You need to stop this unrealistic view that anyone can just full auto an assault rifle and just beam people.  It doesnt work that way.  I spent 15 years and one tour in Iraq OIF 3 in the Army and no one, NO ONE is firing full auto like that with ANY weapon and hitting that consistently.  And shotguns should be a one shot kill at close range, its ridiculous.  You are literally looking at multiple 30 caliber pellets hitting you at once, and you think it takes 3 to 4 shots at anything beyond 30 feet??!  My God wake up and stop the assault rifle bias in this game, ever new release.  Its not even remotely realistic.

    @DaRougaroux I've been running the first LMG for a bit now and having no real issues. Buuuuut...I've gone through the pain of unlocking a lot of stuff. And it was indeed painful and frustrating. So now I have a kit on it that breaks the recoil, gives me a comfortable site, is excellent in CQC, and overall suts my playstyle. The same thing with the M5. It was brutal until I unlocked what I needed.

    That's the issue to me. The SMGs and DMRs own right out of the box. Other weapons can get there, but you have to go through a painful mastery grind to unlock what you need.

    @DaRougaroux Glad you dont work for any devs in fps gaming if this is how you balance weapons..in a game. Why would anyone run anything other than shotguns if they 1 shot out to 30 feet in any game? Like what? Gimme a break
