In my opinion, players that play by different rules, should not play together. I don't mind what settings they change, as long as crossplay is purely opt-in in the next Battlefield title.

Honestly, if we have crossplay next game (which I would expect):
1) Whatever lag is being introduced due to the crossplay features needs to be resolved. I don't play many crossplay games, but from what I understand (outside of those complaining about Auto-aim etc) it seems less complained about for other games concerning latency/lag between systems.
2) There needs to be available M+KB support for consoles (which other games already support)
3) If the reason for the crappy low-tick servers is because of crossplay (and not some cost-cutting measure) then I imagine moving to 60-100tick would make a big difference for many.

I totally agree!
I think the weirdness of Crossplay partially stems from connection issues. Some PC players are starting to feel the same way now. With certain players, my shots just don't register correctly. Interestingly, it seemed like that happened less when using a Controller. It locks onto hit boxes, not character models.
MnK should be supported on Console, especially when there's Crossplay. People are already using adapters like Xim type devices. It's just a higher cost of entry for some people.
Going back to 64 players and higher tick rates would feel a lot better.
