I personally wouldn't want bots removed the more chaos going on the better imo, I think it's good that they'll fill up a server until actual players fill it.

@TickTack121 DICE/EA are chasing players that dont play and or like BF games. The problem is to do this, they have to make the game less like a Battlefield game. The devs dont seem to be trying to make the best BF game they can, they seem to be trying to make a game to entice non BF players. Obviously we have only seen a trailer and have been drip fed very little info, so wont know how it looks and plays for a little while yet. For all its faults, and there were many, BFV still felt like a BF game, but the changes BF2042 have the potential for the game to move even further away from BF past. It may make for a fun game, and all this 'angst' is misplaced, we'll have to wait and see.

I've been playing against bot in other franchises for years. Not sure why everyone is so concerned about a 15 year old idea being added to a new game.

So it's confirmed that it's up to 64 bots in a match

depending on the AI it can more fun than the human bots who are currently populating bfv.
so i am optimistic until proven otherwise.
we had the same thing back in the old cs 1.6 days. server populated by bots and it worked great back then.

Did you ever play Combined Arms? If so, then why are you optimistic? Those bots were directly going for you, even if you have never seen them.

@TickTack121 That will really kill my mood to make me want to play when I'm being stealthy and hidden from their view, and then they instantly turn and shoot me if I take a peek when a player more than likely wouldn't have noticed me.

@GrizzGolf There should be an option for no bots some players want 100% human vs human combat, then there's also the ones that want bot and human combat like Titanfall.

Point is the more options the players have the better, if we get rent a server back like BF4 I know plenty will want to turn them off for players only servers, or lock the server and have their own them vs bot only matches.

find an empty server on BF4, you'll go through a couple pages. Your worries are just unfounded. Don't buy the game, thousands of others will. and if not, you won't be missed because you'll be replaced by a bot. It's almost like your opinion on bots isn't relevant.

@ZombieP1owI'm unsure what you mean I don't have a problem with the bots but I know plenty don't want them and then there's plenty that do. I've already pre-ordered the Ultimate edition waiting on the beta.
I mean I joined on the trending whatever matches on BF4 and got thrown into an empty server, that's always fun. I wasn't complaining about the bots personally I was just pointing out what the article says that there is no option to turn them off, I fully expect the game to be online only as well.

Why would you want there not to be some bots to fill up the server so you can play properly even if people ragequit?
If the bots are good enough they may also push more for objectives that the average bad team that falls back to K/D farm if the going gets tough
