So people who preordered 2042 on Amazon are getting their beta codes now
How is this? DICE you really need to step your game up communicating because it's practically non-existent.

- @TankerFlanker So they can redeem the code and then what? If there is nothing live to connect to, because the Beta is not live, I do not see why this is a big deal...

Guessing the beta was supposed to be happening right now but they
didn't botherforgot to communicate the delay to their distribution partners.@TankerFlanker can be, but if the Beta isn't live yet then they can't do anything with the codes anyways.
So no worries, none of those peoples can play it earlier if that's what you was afraid of. 🙂
And if it's abou pre-loading the Beta, who knows, maybe others that pre-ordered digital also get the Codes a bit earlier just to pre-load once we get closer to the Beta release day.

- @TankerFlanker I agree with communication. Not super worried about the beta, just yet, but I previously mentioned that it might be a good thing to have regular updates--maybe weekly or biweekly--just to keep info flowing, even if the news isn't always all that great. At least we get some kind up status update and info on how things are being put together/designed/fixed/upgraded/etc. I think that would go a long way in building more confidence with the consumer base.
@TankerFlanker maybe the Beta is just around the corner and we'll see others from pre-ordering the digital versions getting early access codes soon too. 😉 🤞

- @TankerFlanker Unless you're still playing on 56k I am sure you will be able to preload in time. This is a non issue.
