Let's face it, the game is already barely dead, and Portal even more.
- People don't want to have to switch between AOW and Portal to be able to unlock things, move forward in the progression
- Portal is full of bug worse than AOW. Hell jumping into a vehicle give you 90% chance to have the ADS bug. At the moment it's unplayable.
Most of the servers i used to go or even mines are now shutdown for good. The hosts moved to others game such as Hell let Loose, Squad, WW3, etc ...
XP in Portal right now. As long as there is no AI. Just played a few rounds for the first time in weeks. HD Conquest and Rush, both giving XP. Going to try a custom server in a sec. A step in the right direction, if intentional.
Just get rid of all progression, XP and tier this and tier that. Give everything for everybody. No sense playing the game for these things. Finally you could just play the game for the game itself. Is there anyone left enjoying the game (portal too) for just the game itself???? If you can’t progress, then it is boring? Nothing to play for? Really????? Am i a UFO for not caring for these things?
