The DICE Friends, people DICE wants to have in a playtest and people EA wants to have in a playtest.
The applied criteria may be vastly different.
Streamer - Reporter, people that spend several hours in Battlefield titles, people that played several hours in EA titles in general.
Those 'larger than Gods' already got into the testing in the earlier Alpha stage. So they didn't even need to mingle with us ordinary beings in the technical playtest. 🙂
I was invited to the playtest but I also had a Playtesting account created. I'm also Gen-X'er who has been playing BF since Battlefield 2. Not sure if any of that factored in or was just luck of the draw in the end.
