Some suggestions on balance (the game is very unbalanced now)

I've been playing BF since the release of 1943 and enjoyed all of them. I even loved 2042 on release (except the bugs). 

I understand why they put back classes, due to all the screaming from unhappy players. I personally liked the freedom of not having classes.

However, now that classes is back, the game is incredibly unbalanced. Hardware/vehicles now dominate the maps again, and not in a fun way. Since we can no longer run around with rpgs/AA in any build, they have free range of the battle. 

Since classes returned, EVERY game I have played vehicles just rank up in kills like crazy. Especially people in choppers.

Things I think needs to be done:

1. Allow all classes to carry rpgs/AA weapons + C4.
2. Repair torches should have a limited use, allowing 200% repair after that they can't be used anymore or refilled. Or make them not work when seated in a chopper. And don't let them stack when 2 are repairing a tank etc.

3. Flares in choppers/planes should NOT magically recharge. 3 flares pr is what they should get, after that it's over. That should give them a good amount of air time. The fact they recharge makes it impossible for anyone to take them down unless a large amount of people try together. 

4. Bring back stationary weapons placed around the maps. Why has this been forgotten? Have flak cannons, AA, RPG etc scattered around at strategic places like we had in the previous BF games!
5. AP rounds need to do damage to choppers and planes. 

Anyways, that's just my opinion.

  • I think getting rid of the self auto-healing would be a great start too, including the slot able repairs. I totally miss the weapon emplacements too.

    Almost all the cases of dominant vehicles in this series are due to the fact that way too many players chose to not switch to a loadout that is appropriate for the problem at hand.

    The flying transports are truly over the top and they are being looked at right now.

    But others like the heavy tanks are seriously bad at any objective play thanks to how clumsy they are and now many people can have C5 (and you want MORE c5?!?!)

    Yeah I am suggesting more C5. It makes no sense that Support class is not allowed to carry C5!

  • I suggest balancing the vehicles and weapons. Lots of weapons are more deadly and accurate than sniper rifles at long range scratching my head on that one.

    1. Little Bird nerf

    2. Balance sniper rifles they are under powered.

    3. An assault rifle can not accurately shoot the distance a sniper rifle does fix please.

    3. Nerf wing suit

    4. Buff turret

    5. Buff M5

    6. Fix cross play latency

    7. Tone down spotting

    8. Get rid of player launched zip lines.

    9. Rework some of the useless vehicles.

    10. We need some bottle neck maps like Operation Locker and Metro.

    11. Take Hour Glass out of the map rotation.

    12. Get rid of the flashlights on top of sniper rifles!

    @77_Ezekiel , yeah the wing suit needs to have a small "stumble" or something when they land before they can start using weapons.

    Because they are more Medic than BF3/4 Support. Imho they should not even have claymores. The job of the 2042 supports is to keep their team alive and supplied so that the engineers etc can use their gadgets to do the tank slaying. 

    Also because Falk is already the best overall specialist (fastest revive + effectively 12 uses of med pen that can be resupplied and even used on others) and does not need even more incentives to be used.
