I'm going back to bf5..Constantly dying in this piece of xxxx game..If it's not a fudging vehicle or stinking dog I die because the mechanics are horrible.. I used to be a combat medic with heals and smoke.. probably the best loadout with heals och d left and smokes on d right..I've mapped the buttons the same way in bf 2042 but it's soooooo freaking annoying that I now have to HOLD the heal button/paddle for like 15 second!! DUDE, WTF!?And let's not talk about crouch sliding... which is super effective in bf5... in 2042 it's pure crap. And you can't slide around corners anymore. Oh, and I played kaleidoscope 2 mins ago... I had to rage quit because WHERE THE HELL IS MY COVER... fakkin helicopters and tanks all over the place.. and did I mention there is absolutely no cover when you try to push!!?I'm a 3-4 kd player and I find that decent but I've had enough of this game and how you completely destroyed it with the crappiest title ever. I will not even ask for fix this and that because I know it ain't going to happen because I'm a developer myself and I know for a fact you can't just change things without making a completely new game.I've wasted my time enough here. See you in the next battlefield. Maybe. If that one is also not crap.

@SirBobdk I don't. But I do in 2042. But from random sh*t like a granade 100 miles from where I am even though I run 4000 km before it detonates, helis, tanks, nuclear bombs, stupid robot dogs and what not. All EXCEPT infantry!

Its just an all around a bad game. Dice has lost all of its identity. They clearly dot care for the community they have so let just bygones be bygones and stop buying the trash til they decide to make games again.

@DCAT627 I think you're missing the point. Just because it's a new game doesn't automatically means it's better.

@m8v8io6ojhupSliding was better in the beta. I like how it’s less locked in than in BFV. Right now it’s okay, but not that exciting. People complained about the sliding in the beta though, so they nerfed it.
Currently I main Falck and feel like she’s one of the best picks for a specialist. In BFV I mainly played as an Assault class. I really like being able to play the way that I want to. I’m so glad they let you pick what weapon you want to use vs being tied to a class.

@m8v8io6ojhup The game can get frustrating. For me the tricks is to just not let the frustrating parts get to me.

I had a round yesterday where I didn't get any kills at all in the first 10 minuts. I was just getting mowed down by heli's, hovercrafts and tanks left and right. Then after those first 10 minuts my luck just changed and I ended up getting 50+ kills before the round was over.

Yes, 2042 is a frustrating game. And not due to some of us are bad players but due to bad design. Add to that all the other frustrating missing core elements and not so good working ones (like sliding - its not fun, its useless and why is there a sudden stop when it finishes?).
Overall, Cant blame you. BF 5 is really well done. I enjoyed playing it for a long time. Tomorrow they will nerf all the guns and it wont go over to well when the PP suddenly recoils like mad 😉
Like i said in previews posts, to me 2042 is painfully fun. Its got its moments but the issues go way deeper.

@Tank2042Man Why would i be trolling? You're probably a community mod or someone getting paid for trying to make things as bad as they are. If you're not then I apologize.
But I'm truly mad about this whole bf 2042 situation and how some people care more about money than why we play video games in the first place.
And like I said , yesterday I had enough of this bad experience that I was having. I was at 20 plus something in rank. Played all modes etc. That s enough to get a feel if it's indeed a good game or not.

And in case you were wondering. Yesterday after rage quitting the extremely poorly designed kaleidoscope map I jumped over to bf5... and guess what... I got 70/15 or something like that in my first round. Mechanics feelt amazing and guess what else... the scoreboard was back. This is all a joke tbh. I pre ordered with high hopes. And to this day I still hope for a great game but unfortunately I don't think that will ever happen.
