Yip.That's literally all I had yesterday when playing on PS5, cross play off and on Conquest 64.It was literally Spawn and Die, Spawn and Die, Spawn and Die every time on the basic maps. I would pick a flag to spawn on and would join right in front of either a platoon of enemies or a blinking tank / wildcat.Or even better, I would pick a flag, and it would drop me halfway up a hill a mile away from the action?What the hell is going on with this game, it's getting to the stage where nothing makes sense any more, and all the nerfing and messing with the guns and vehicles is just silly now. You would think they have never made these games before !Who are the people messing about with the mechanics of this game now, they are single-handedly destroying what was a great franchise, now you might as well go and play COD with the kiddies !

The spawning is a complete joke. You often spawn either in the middle of a capture-zone in an open area without cover or too close to/right in front of enemies.If the game has any logic that tries to improve spawns, it must be severely bugged.It seems like it would be easy to improve things, just by adding better spawn-points that are behind "cover/terrain".For me bad spawning and bad netcode are some of the biggest annoyances in the game. These are very fundamental issues and they give players an awful experience.

Just like almost every other facet of this game, spawning locations are terrible.I can't tell you how many times I have written in these forums to stop spawning players towards the enemy main spawn. So if the RU spawn is north, and I am spawning at the point nearest to their base spawn, why are you spawning me to that side of the flag? This is not changing in this title.

@ugdpy I am being spawned towards the weighted enemy side and a lot.

I think the worst possible situation is when the enemy is capping a point you can still spawn on.
The logic for spawn locations (on objectives) is flawed. In addition, the maps are not optimally designed for the game modes that use objective spawn locations where it is not out of bounds for the enemy.
Bottom line: improve spawn logic and fortify spawn locations so you have a fighting chance upon spawning

The spawn mechanics are still absolute crap!!!! Dice is just not giving a crap. They make me HATE THIS GAME! You either spawn half the map away, in the wide open and die, kr you spawn in the center of five opponents and die, or spawn in a vehicle Ile that explodes, a d die.... FIX IT!!!!

I have selected to spawn on an adjacent point which my team controlled but ended up spawning just outside the contested point a died immediately! Spawn mechanics are crap!

When there are enemies contesting a location, you are automatically spawned some distance away..... so that you don't insta-die.
The distance is normally a quick run of 10 to 20 seconds. While it might seem annoying, a short run (or ride in a vehicle) is better than being spawned into the middle of a gun fight.
As for vehicle spawning... they said they are going to add some way of telling if a vehicle is low health, which should help the spawn-in-vehicle-and-die.
I very rarely get insta killed when spawning. Spawn... start running. Don't spawn and stand.

That is the issue with console players playing with cross play enabled. The PC community have such an advantage when it comes to target recognition and aiming that as soon as a console player is spotted they are dead before they can even react. If we have crossplay off then it is almost impossible to find a full or even part full server. We desperately need console only cross play because at the moment it's just not worth playing as a console player against PC.

@Pompey_1983 I have been Cross Play OFF for ages because of this, but then as you say, it's not easy getting a decent game.

I spend most of my time now in SOLO play, but thats a lot less than I used to because this game is so boring now because of little variety. Far too few maps etc. We really got shafted with this game.

@80uwjx4m1chc Dude I've gone back to BFV. Much more fun, great map rotation, fair gameplay and full servers. Love that game
