Why not just grab the best of everything ? Those who wants specialists can do that, while others grab their old class, that be medic, sniper support etc.
The Teamplay is, as earlier stated something the PLAYER does, not the class, BUT the class does make it easier to see what is needed for those who does like to teamplay.
And yes, I often see some players repair in BF4 same goes with medic revive and drop a med-box so to those saying "It never happens" I gotta say poor you you simply play on the wrong servers then 🙂
My personal preference is specialists are a stupid unwanted addon no one asked for and poorly implemented into a BF game where they dont belong using even more far out items that moves away the feeling of a battlefield game, and no, I know its not a milsim, but DICE always talked about "immersion" all the while moving farther and farther away from it with "medi-pens - self shooting sentries - robo dogs tied up with C4 - when it farts your tank goes skyhigh .... sound really immersive to me.
But, to please all players they could at least have taken both stands, classes AND specialists... But I guess it was too much to ask for someone at DICE growing a brain.
