I honestly think the Class system should still be in place. I also think they should keep the Specialist system but weave it into the class system itself. Short and skinny is, you can have both a class system and specialist system in this game. And honestly that is exact what I think they should do.

My dude, it's already present in the game. We have both.
Each specialist is being categorized as a specific 'old' class like Assault, Engineer, Recon or Support.

Yep . we already have that , and the gadjet should remain the way they are so as the weapons .. the specialist specifics ability are reconizable and we know we can expect a Mcckay to flank a Boris to drop turrets etc.. So it help a lot to know if you destroyed a turret a boris wont be far etc..
