I remember, before the game came out, that people have concerns about the problem of clones on both sides due to the nature of 2042 now being a hero shooter.
We were given a grandiose promise that customization would have so much depth it wouldn't matter.
Guess we'll chalk that up as another lie.

I think bfv did character customization well. There seemed to be alot of articles of clothing that made sense for each soldier.
Face customization was nice too, though specialists ruin that opportunity

I am fine with it. I'm also not too attached to customizing my character if the default makes sense.
For example, I hardly ever customized my character uniform in bf4 and never felt like I needed to
But for others, character customization is valued more highly and I think bfv did it best. 2042 is subpar in that aspect in comparison

Camo, hats, pants, boots, gloves.. but most importantly just the characters themselves (for ones that aren’t cartoonish). And I would pay extra to be able to duct tape their mouths so they couldn’t say any cheesy lines (after each match) 😂😂
seriously.. just some characters that look like real soldiers as a option would make so many very happy
