They're not that different. Specialist are just a class system that allows you to change weapons. People following this hype are easily manipulated by youtube or wherever they got their information from. Lets see how the full game plays out. Its in the game and there is no way they are going to revert it before launch. A more productive discussion would be how can we balance things, even that would be pretty useless since we only played a very small piece of the actual game.
The class system was designed to balance the game. It served its purpose, but I don't think it's really needed anymore. Still feels like a BF game to me and I've been playing hell of a long time.
