Thanks for the question. I buy skins because I like to standout and enjoy playing a character with unique looking animated armor and weapons. It's the same reason people spend thousands for skins in any game. I don't play for a super competitive experience...I play games just to have fun. My professional life is competitive enough...I play games to relax. I don't want to look like everyone else in the game even if it helps me hide in a dark corner. I like to standout. I disagree that you can't see your character.....you can see your character parachuting/gliding down.....you can see your characters gloves and watches or part of their jacket/armor around their arm....you can see your character during executions/takedowns.....you can see your character (in some games) in certain vehicles...and in some FPS games you can see your character while dancing/waving/etc. For instance in another game I have a skin that looks like Shredder from the Ninja Turtles and my hands are covered in sharp metal spikes. I might not be able to see the entire skin all the time, but I don't regret the purchase. I have another character that has lightning armor. I might not see the entire skin all the time but I see the lightning pulsating off of his armor getting larger/stronger the higher his score goes.
Hope to get killed by you on the battlefield!
