Split Consoles form PC's
I know it may be an unpopular opinion and that it may not take effect in 2042, but they should split up PC's from consoles in the next game at least if they are going to keep cross play. The spec dif...
I hope they do too, mostly because I am tired of the constant bitching and whining about it from the console guys, every other day there is some new thread about it or about these mysterious god-like "super-powers" you acquiree merely by using a mouse and keyboard.
And how do you figure a PC is any easier to use than a console that has reduced recoil and aim-assist baked into it?
@xXHappy_PuppyXxIt its always the console players in BF games crying about everything. Even before crossplay, console players complained that recoil was too high and suited for a m&k players (Even though consoles had 25% reduced recoil in their build). They complained about lower net code and lower player counts.
And now you complain about crossplay non stop.
True, to an extent but I don't recall nearly as many threads started by PC players calling to end cross-play.
That being said I agree cross-play should be off by default and something you should have to opt-in to, I don't think anybody is really all that happy with the current setup.
@Ironhead841Gee.. and 100% of threads complaining about Aim Assit are PC players just like 100% of complaints of input lag are PC players.
Why would PC players complain about crossplay when they have all the advantages. Better framerates, higher resolutions, better controls.
But boy oh boy do PC players complain when they think console players have imaginary aim assit. PC players were complaining about console aim assit when aim assit was massively hindering console players.
The difference between console complaints about crossplay vs PC complaining about Aim Assit is at least console complaints about crossplay are grounded in reality. Console players aren't making threads about imaginary Aim Assit doing all these imaginary things. All console players have pointed put is that you cant have a balanced game between PC and console. Unless you massively buff console or neuter PC. So it's best to separate the two.
Unless you as a PC player you want to limit your self to sub 4k scaling graphics, to sub 60 frames per second and forced to use the same input method. Hey if you're willing to lose all your advantages and play at our level then I have no issue with crossplay.
Ya there are a lot of things Dice screwed up on out side of crossplay. Such as upping the player and map size but not upgrading the server tick rate.. it's still the 45htz tick rate as before but double the player load making for awful server side issue. Its why there are so many issues of hits not registering to what appear to be intant deaths to getting shot around or through objects and terrain.
