Squad leader
I wonder what is the algorithm that the game make since I am picked as a squad leader almost 95% at the time. And how do I stop from doing it ?

Selecting an objective to defend or attack is supposed to keep the squad together so that they can help one another with support actions (heals, revives, ammo, repairs, watching each others backs, etc). So the squad leader role even without the bonus incentives is still very important. I see this in almost every conquest and breakthrough match where squads are individuals separated on the map. Which makes the overall strength of the team poor.
I never play this game with people that I know and I find that I am selected as squad leader quite often as well. It is annoying because using the commo rose for commands on console (PS5) is often inaccurate and a chore. Which is why I have asked in the past that the squad leader be able to issue commands from the large map. Even pointing and aiming at the flag to set an objective order is more difficult in this game than past titles for some reason.

I agree the commo rose is very buggy and inaccurate in my experience, I always have to literally spam the objective key several times to get it to work.

- @RayD_O1 Yes. I will try to give an order using the commo rose. It never works the first time so I go back in there to do it again and have to fight with the menu get the order to stick. I still don't have the timing down after playing the game for a year.
Simple things should not be difficult for the player to execute in video games.
I also wish that there were a view of the map pre-match so that squads could prioritize objectives before deploying. Squads could also see friendly squad strategies. This would help out so much in conquest large and breakthrough. In my opinion we all should be using the large map for strategy during the match, and it would be nice if there were map tools to aid us in doing this.- @Skill4Reel
Yeah it really is so frustrating and distracting when you are trying to play a game and having to wrestle with the commo rose at the same time.
I also like your suggestions on map tools.
