It’s 2021 and by now a lot of people can relate to the level of fun and immersion that proximity chat adds to multiplayer games, specifically open/large world shooters. Why hasn’t Battlefield made it a priority to add proximity based voip? Even if it was limited to hardcore mode. The amount of potential it and engagement it would add for coordinating with your team would be huge. Especially in vehicles.
let’s not forget proximity chat against enemy’s. This is just plain fun. Being able to talk trash as the enemy has you pinned down, or maybe even faking them out could be used to a tactical advantage. There’s lots of possibilities and advantages to having a proximity based chat system.
I couldn't figure out how to create my own post. Most likely I need more dm credits. When I was deciding on proximity I kept trying to incorporate the strengths of the Battlefield community.
As a beginner "not really" for text purposes, yes. I see these maps are insane to the point I'd just go exploring creating random battles or potentially a friend. You shall become my tall grass *wink *wink. While most of the Christmas fans focus on the main choke points, battle aspect, I'd can go venture off.
When balancing the language adults, teens to kids new from Fortnite help them feel safe while giving them support. Adults have the community section, watching over the kids battle like Timmy's while keeping an eye out for toxic behavior.
- @aSpart624 Having a custom button layout linking this to your EA account can work as a walkie-talkie. Giving the community the ability to communicate, while also reporting if power is abused. I know with the Xbox Elite two controllers you can have multiple, squared the amount of layouts. Applying that format to custom squads can be something to marvel at.
- @aSpart624 The final four individuals at the end of the game displaying the most achieved goals get this perk. They have the ability to time their recording, displaying to the enemy and team lobby. Of course, these individuals know they have this option due to the badges they receive. Now this badge is only secured after enough feedback on other individuals chats recognition. Meaning, you must interact with the individuals good, bad, neutral, toxic determining their overall score (voice). After a certain amount of feedback and you actually achieving one of the four placements, you unlock this perk. Now, this is the first step to determine whether or not the community deems you worthy to claim proximity chat. Once you acquire enough community points, EA alerts your account to this update. Allowing your account, to access proximity chat. Don't forget, you are bragging against the enemy team so the balance of love and hate, truly depends on how helpful you were to your team (your score card). Enough of these score cards leads to other perks that I detailed in the other post created. Technically, this is the beginning and you acquire trust over time.
