@W4RD0G71 The only buff I could argue for it, is that it should take 1 extra Lis missile like the Attack Helis. Maybe make it such that, if the Stealth Heli is in Stealth Mode, it's a 1 hit but if it's not in Stealth Mode, it should require 2 hits. Everything else regarding it is fine.

So, stealth helicopter. It has problem. Actually i see 2 major ones. 1 hit TGM is one. Since hokum and apache has better maneuverability, stealth should tank 2 missiles. No one will take repair over flares. And TGM desync doesn't make dodging easier. The fact ive been in so many situations, TGM is practically 1:1 with stealth movement. Second problem is stealth mode doesn't work against jets active radars. You really can't even dodge them. And thats also the reason why no1 takes repair over flares because as soon as stealth cloak gets disabled, you're gonna get instantly locked.
30mm feels pretty decently nerfed, gunner has boring times, i mean i did fly for the gunner mostly but vehicles were mine. Umm bombing, you can do full health bombings with it, but you need to pull veeery close to a target. And no one really pulls high bombings, its not worth it and is very inaccurate cause of spread. Atm all airvehicles dmg output and survivability is way higher than stealth.

I think stealth helicopters are an epic unit. It is taken by enthusiasts who want a non-standard fight. Also in this role is the TOR tank, which has a similar epic purpose. It is not correct to align its balance in relation to a multifunctional combat unit.

It probably feels weak because the other helos are so OP. Interesting that the jets can radar lock even when in stealth, but ground forces can't. That can't be right - should be the same for both, so jets should not be able to lock either.
- ATFGunr2 years agoLegend@MADMAC50K Consider that the manpads are IR based and the radar missile of a jet is different. Really the stealth heli still has a heat signature even if it is reduced, and it still has a radar signature but its also reduced, so both missiles should work but make it a more limited range.
