After some time has passed and several nerfs to the stealth hele I have a few opinions. First, it was too OP and deserved some downgrades. Now, it's the slowest, least maneuverable aircraft in the game. I get shot down by "smart rockets" from the larger attack hele's which can also out-climb the stealth and seem to be faster too. I get that some players dislike how disruptive the new vehicle class was. It meant that their shoulder fire AA was even less useful. It meant a bomb could land and wipe out their squad. But the survivability of the hele is way, way too low. Especially in dog-fights. Applying throttle pushes your gun sight down, so if you want to move AND shoot you are at a disadvantage. The jets, flak, and nightbird chew it up really, really fast. Some players have miraculous abilities with Lis too. The Jet radar missles lock on even when cloaked! You can't even equip healing and flares at the same time... now it's just slow, fragile, inaccurate, vulnerable, and if you win a direct fight with another aircraft you're at least pretty good, and a little lucky too. If you have someone good manning your turret you have a better chance, but mostly they're trying to shoot an infantry 200m away while a nightbird sits 20 feet away and rips you and half, completely oblivious to what the pilot sees.
