Stealth Heli Repair System is ridiculously OP-far better than other veh rep sys

    Thanks for flagging this!
     
    I can confirm we'll reduce the effectiveness of the the Repair System for the Stealth Helicopters by bringing it in line with other vehicles.
     
    This change is currently planned for the next game update.

    @EA_Atic Maybe worth having a "feedback loop" on aircraft? Maybe surveys? Seems to be a fairly hot button topic with the community that doesn't seem to be any less hot button over time. Arguably it's even more hot button (saying that a lot) given that DICE, in their infinite wisdom, decided to add a hilariously busted stealth helicopter as the first new vehicle in a game where aircraft were already a nightmare for ground forces/infantry.

    I was kinda assuming feedback loops would be used for more than just placating the community once in a blue moon.

      @edgecrusherO0 we are coming up on a year in, we'll be lucky to get support after about the 14 month mark IMHO...I doubt we'll get anything more on air vehicles because its more than just a bit of balancing, they need a huge rework.

        @foff667 We'll get 4 seasons at least. Anything beyond that...who knows. Unless EA remains committed to 2042 as the "anchor" experience - and I honestly hope they don't because at this point I don't think 2042 is actually salvageable given how little progress has been made. Which is weird, because they've made a TON of improvements but still have lightyears to go.

        Not that I'd buy the next game after DICE has done us so dirty time and time again, but I don't think 2042 has a bright/long future ahead of it. The people running the show simply don't have the chops for this.

    @EA_Atic Tuning the repair will help very little or virtually nothing. Why didn't you just tweak down stealth with 50% and kept the repairs as it was. This will lead to another month with ruined gameplay for most of the players.

      @lionking7001 This, the only real end-result is that aircraft might need to spend another 5-8 seconds hiding behind a building/hill passively regenning.

      Which doesn't really make any meaningful changes but hey, maybe DICE will let us play on the branch they play on someday. Because based off the balance changes they keep proposing, that branch of BF2042 sounds way more awesome than what we're playing on live servers.
