@AntEater1997 that you can only have one or the other is good thing
You are not a one-man army mate 😉
And due to the fact that they doubled the team size the equipment is spread over the whole team so it’s no need that one squad can do all alone 😉
@CountSero That doesn't make me a one man army, it limits team play when all the gadgets are in the same pool. People will objectively pick dps based gadgets over anything else. They should have at least gave all the support/engineer style specialists a default repair tool like how it was in bfv. It also doesn't help that repairing doesn't even give you points. It's basically telling me to not play that way.
- CountSero4 years agoSeasoned Ace@AntEater1997 the limitation of the gadgets is more like in BF2 and there were seven classes 😉 so there you had to choose wisely also or switch on death 😉
related to BF2 you have here more choices with the Specialist system^^ you only need to adapt it and adjust your playstyle 😉- 4 years ago@CountSero Every single BF games had different BS arbitrary classes that made no sens . BF2 MC on consoles had the medic locked with a faction specific LMG and a Motar barrage call .. lol BFBC1 had no medic and no engineer but instead a Support class that was Mechanics and Medic at the same time with a LMG etc.. THe way BF as always being doing classes made no sens and the current system is the most inteligent they ever came with ..
Specialist are whithin a certain spectrums of usefullness . Falk and Angel are clearly support classes who help with survivability , Boris and Irish are clearly engineers style classes helping to defend and hold position . Mkay and sundance are clearly assault mobility to flank ennemy and caught them off guard recon is the same they are subclasses of recon style gameplay etc... they are all suitable for a battlefield experience- CountSero4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@Stew360Yes, that is what I try to say that the Specialist system is the best what they have done.
Its clearly the evolution of the old class system and it is needed for the huge Maps.
And its freedom of choice related to weapon and one additional item.
I think the old class system with locking weapon to a class would lead to unpopular picks (again)
In my opinion the old class system clearly favours premade teams which could easily lead to dominating one side. (What you could clearly see in BF4, BF1 and BF V)
But hey the “old class system” is fun, let’s get back to the good old times with the beloved “Teamplay” that never really happened.
But now with Specialists Everyone “can” be even with their weapon and equipment of choice, that is what I like on BF2042.
And today in my matches there where so many Teamplay, it was pure fun.
See you on the Battlefield
(Sorry when it was not so clear I’m not a native English speaker)
- 4 years ago@AntEater1997 Exactly . even if i took falk with amo box then i have no C4 no rocket to deal with vehicles no repair kit to repair my own . and against 64 players a 1 man cant be an army lol
