- YourLocalPIumber2 years agoSeasoned Ace@thepuppetmaster7 Yeah Dice is losing the plot with changing and removing modes.
First they removed vehicles from conquest, then added "seasons" and "Exodus" conquests. Now they removed 128 completely except for a few maps and put 64 CQ instead. This just makes no sense to me.
Game has a ton of players now, you can easily populate both 128 and 64 servers - Psubond2 years agoLegend
they think this adding/removing modes will make people play more when in reality it just irritates everyone because at some point whatever you like to play will be removed
- @thepuppetmaster7 exactly this.
agreed. they should leave the cq 128 perm and add 64 playlist

That other game does it as well. Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to rotate modes in and out. I mean they have read on here how much it is disliked but yet they still do it. Boggles the mind. It's like either our way or no way! Unless the GUI is limited or something.

I'm pretty sure DICE does it to herd players into matchmaking pools. If there were matchmaking pools for every game mode then the pools would be empty. Leading to long wait times.
That's my guess anyway. DICE probably also thinks rotating modes helps to keep the game 'fresh'. But it's probably mostly about herding players and reducing wait times.
- NazT552 years agoSeasoned Ace@OskooI_007 True. I didn't think of it like that.

Just remove it permanently
64p mode ONLY and add the server browser and leave 128p mode to the portal custom games for the others hahaha
And they give us "Season's conquest"
Map rotation
Exposure
Stranded
Spearhead
New Africa map
When Stranded is the best map in the rotation you have issues.
- ATFGunr2 years agoLegend@OskooI_007 Are 64 player servers cheaper? That would explain a lot. The 45 hz servers sure don’t seem up to the task of 128 crossplay on servers. I’m sure it’s about money, with these folks it’s always about money.
