Couldn't agree more. Even something as simple as flying a little bird. It felt like I was flying a giant brick. Nothing like the one from BF4. Nearly 10 years ago DICE had the little bird controls being very fluid. BF2042 controls simply suck.
Did they even take a look at what worked well in BF4, BF1, or BFV?

Agreed @Tha_Growler ,
The vehicle controls and their dynamics (or rather total lack of it) are horrific in BF2042!
Now as you mention BF4: Matter of fact, flying the helis in BF2042 is as dumbed down as flying the MAV in BF4.
Zero skills, static movements and nothing to do with dynamics on how a heli flies.
