Strike at Karkand in 2042
bring back this map from battlefield 2 and battlefield 3 for battlefield 2042 inside portal game.
this map was best ever 10/10.
the game from 2011 looks better than from 2022

i love this game for ever. every time when i watch this i feel that was best fps game, best battlefield in my all life...ever
I would like to see them add it to portal. It was a favorite of mine from BF2 but I don't think it was well-received when BF3 came out as I hardly saw it in the rotation on servers.
more servers in battlefield2 was with only this map, in battlefield3 on frostbite2 looks better.
in the times of battlefield2 no one cried like now people are complaining about everything.
this series should stop at battlefield1. battlefield3 and battlefield bad company 2 should be remastered for all platforms.
They should bring the 64 player version of the map to 2042 but also integrate Warlord into it for 128 players then they have two maps for the price of one for 64 players.

Great map, I agree. The new maps in BF2042 simply don't compare on multiples levels IMO.
This (among other great maps) is what the essence of BF was all about and I wish the DICE developers would wake up and realize what a great formula they had before they decided to change tack. I would guarantee a BF game that took to heart all the great elements from BF2, BC2 and BF3 (among others) would have done far, far better than the poor result of BF2042.
@Equilibrium_82Nah ... far from the best map ... it was an average map at best . It was for sure " popular " in Bf2 days .. but so is COD and FOrtnite now ..
- @Equilibrium_82 While they’re at it, the CQB dlc from BF3 was so much fun for those really into an infantry only map. From the squawking I see about vehicles, a lot of the current gen of players would play the heck out of it. Was fun to jump into for a break from helis lol.
Even if they don’t bring the exact maps, if they could capture the feel of them would be a big change from 2042. Too many open spaces, even in 64p maps. I can only bunny hop so much as I run across klicks of ground with barely a bush to hide behind… I have decided not to buy Battlefield game until they make one with this maps (remakes):
