No Battlefield game received more than 3 years of updates, so expecting it from a game that has actually had more "updates" than most of the series in 2042 is pretty unrealistic.
Off-topic, SOT doesn't personally do anything for me, I don't find the moment to moment gameplay or combat fun or engaging..
