TAGS and backgrounds

@80uwjx4m1chcI look at other Battlefield games. I look at the avatars they use and the avatar system. And then I look at Battlefield 2042. I find it very restrictive and too formal.

When playing games, I usually like to choose an avatar, tag, or badge that suits my nickname. But I can't find one 🙂

@80uwjx4m1chcWhile I was expecting avatars and badgets to be added for users, developers are adding avatars and badgets that reflect themselves. It's like developers love themselves more in this game, they don't seem to care much about the users 🤔

Okay, welcome, but where are the lions, tigers, those skeletons, bones, knives?

I think I know what you mean. Your saying in previous BF titles the tags you have on vehicles or tags,  and background scenery etc...was more detailed.

It comes down to the level of design for BF 2042. It was poorly executed on release that's why there's a lack of level to detail. It just wasn't really thought out. The designers spent waaay too much time on a portal mode that flopped, there was no campaign they ditched the campaign for portal. There is no server browser, there's only 13 maps and the games been out for 2 years and there will probably only be 15 at the 3 year mark. There's only a few good maps too. Plus they had to rework like half of them.

It's a fun game, but compared to previous titles it nowhere meets the level of standards/detail that they had.

@D-Man3847But at least they should add 500-600 backgrounds and 500-600 tags. One or two people can do this in a day, so why is it restricted?

158 background and 85 tag

In just my city, there are more than 150 people playing this game. Isn't this number a bit low? Why does everyone have to use the same background? Why can't it be different? Why can't it be personalized?

The latest installment of the game doesn't have to have all the level of details the previous titles had. Should of it? Yes, because it's what made BF so great. The shift in the direction of the series was so great that it basically became a whole new game. It's unfortunate, but it happens.

Would I like to see more tags? It's not really on one my list. But, it would be nice to be able to customize your profile more. Maybe even your own header some of them are awful on 2042. I think the biggest things I want and others is a server browser and more maps that are actually good.
