Hello! I have a question about battlefield 2042. How can I make it so that I only play for the US team? Due to the Russian invasion to Ukraine, I cannot play for the Russian team. Please help to solve this problem. [Edit: Changed the title to better reflect the topic - ElliotLH]

O.P. as an American I find it a little tacky to be placed against the Russian team. I guess the two big boys on the block are going to fight some time but found Russia vs USA a little politically incorrect and troubling.So, I feel you, sorry there is no way to pick teams.

I'm not sure how, but my Portal Breakthrough server has had me as a defender on Hourglass and Reclaimed before when I'm certain I was playing solo. Interesting! So must be that Portal can randomly put you on it (I honestly forgot they finally added BT to Portal as it was missing for so long after launch). I think the reason for it was because there had been people on the server when the maps changed, and the game forgot to move me back the next time I fired it up.

Russias name should be removed from the game. I wonder how much time and effort it would take to purge that.Cosetmetics probably Boris 🤣, vehicles, visuals, and the name. More then likely too much work we only get 1 map a season games been out for over 3 years and we've only gotten 6 maps. So, yea too much work. Hopefully next BF won't have them as a participant.

It would be cool to be able to choose what team to play on. Unfortunately there seems to be no option for that.

@X-Sunslayer-X Thanks! But maybe it’s possible somehow? For example i always play as blue team. Enemy team is always red. Maybe it's possible to show for me that i'm in USA team?

When the map is loading you can know the side, just cancel if it's RU side... guys pls lmao...

And how many times i need to cancel game? It can be even 10 times or more... It is not a solution.

This game does not enable team switching or chosing.
