Team Death Match bot removed when low player count = none playing anymore, why the change?
Also since this change is common to have 1 player vs 5 players, if remove the bots have the players on each team even.
No players are available on any other mode, Team Death Match was the only mode available at this time, so not only are bots removed the teams are never even, when some players join.
Agreed, this is a terrible (and hopefully inadvertent) change. The matches still start even with minimal players, but there are no AI anymore.
I can only imagine this to be a misstake that should be fixed.
TDM with just 2 or 3 people is not fun.

Meanwhile there is that other topic complaining that they do not like having bots in their team because they are feeding points to the other team
It must be hard for devs to try to make us all happy :D
Anyways, yeah I consider the bots to be a valuable filler because good luck anyone playing TDM in a Battlefield game
Yes, that is true. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.
I have an idea though:
How would it be if they like implemented some kind of persistent servers and some kind of server browser for TDM? So people could check if a server is populated before joining. You wouldn't have to be stuck with 2 or 3 players on TDM then.

So they made a solo team death match against bots and there are portal games with full exp with bots, but TDM bots are off, Why? Can EA enlighten us?
