Team mates don't rez because it takes too long (3 seconds with Falck and Angel, 4 seconds with other heroes). As a result of the rez animation, by the time you've done it you've been killed.
The amount of times I've been lying on the ground wounded, surrounded by Falcks and Angels literally next to me and they don't rez through fear of dying themselves.
In BF4 rezzing with shock paddles is instant

Yeah agreed, especially if it's one of your own squad mates who you personally just revived a few seconds before then they just abandon you.
Don't really think the animation is totally to blame and its just as likely to be down to selfish or oblivious play. Lots of people don't revive in the older titles without an animation as well.

@CantGetRightThis is false. I played V the other night and gotten revived many times by various medics. Few times had multiple medics incoming for the revive
Not many do it in 2042 because there really is no reward vs risk
i normally play Medic Main (Falk)
i heal, i revive and i also drop the ammo crate ^^ and to make it easier i use smoke to conceal the areas.
But not every situation and spot give you the opportunity to revive a mate and many players are not patience enough respawn instead of waiting
So, if I’m in your team and I play Falk you have a good chance that I will revive you ^^
