Team/Squad Switch coming ? We really need them

Since patch 4.0 the game have been "balancing" the teams by splitting my party between two teams.

BFV and 2042 have gone down a  really annoying path as far as friend groups are concerned.

In BF4 I would join a squad and look at the map to see if they were in proximity to each other or all over the map. Stay with the ones who were in close proximity to each other becasue ually it mean they were working together.

Being able to find a good squad is crucial. The current model is random assignment with no role for the player to decide, which is the opposite of engaged gameplay.

There is nothing more annoying than joining a squad of players camping on a hill, miles from anywhere. Vehicles and snipers positioned in the most useless map positions. Or players than just don’t play the objective.

even worse, and I’ve had this quite a lot, is having a squad that just drive around like prat’s, I mean literally driving to the furthest part of the map. 

So being able to leave a squad and find players that are going to make the game actually fun to play is absolutely crucial.

Even more crucial is that this stupid match making doesn’t breakup the squad every * * round. It’s utterly unbelievable that someone thought this re-match making every round made sense for a team game.

Absolute correct.

It would be so great they give us back the kind of squad management we had in previous BF versions.
In BFV worked great.
While playing with friends I miss the 5th squad member we had at BF4.

Sums it up perfectly, and as you say absolutely bonkers that anyone thought MM was a good idea, it is just bad on so many levels. !

You can switch squads already but you don't get to choose which squad you get placed into and you can't create your own squad or play solo.

team switching meh, it can help with friends playing together so i'm in favor

the ability to switch/leave squads NEEDS to happen.  we should have the ability to opt out of squads with annoying/useless squad mates  (like the idiots who spawn on you while you are running soflam and immediately stars shooting (see:  missing) and drawing attention to you)

I am pretty certain it is a matter of an open spot not available. Happens all the time, but it would be great if there was a message so we didn't jump to the  (reasonable) conclusion that it was a bug.
