Mind you its still a "datamine" info, but this guy pretty much never misses. According to him, there are no more signs of content beyond Season 5. Everything that we knew of was added into this rip-off called "Elite Edition"
Really sad to see it. I was hoping for atleast 1 more season to finish off 2023, and then hoping for some info on 2024 game

If you cut 90% of features from the game and call them legacy features, I guess you can easily get ahead of the schedule

Anyways, why would they continue working on a game when the community incessantly complains and trashes it? Maps are still bad, class system is still not a class system (specialists are still there...), balance is non existent...

You can also say you brought in so many new features, although they should have been there from the beginning.
@ForumUser100% agree. The maps dragged this game down along with the stubborn insistence of shoving 128 players into them. Consider the map counts:
BF4 - 33 total, 10 at launch
BF1 - 31? Total. 9 at launch
BFV - 18 total, 8 at launch
BF2042 - 12 total, 7 at launch.

And no I'm not counting the Portal maps. The main Conquest game mode for PS5, PC and Xbox Series has been 128 players. Portal maps have never been a part of it, and they refuse to do a 64 players conquest on the large versoins of maps.
Why struggle and get it to this point then walk away when we are more than a year away from the new title.
I wish they would just tell us what's going on.
We only got season 5 because EA know how bad the game was on release.
It's fine if you just started playing but many have left after feeling ripped off with a unfinished game last year.
Even the season pass is dull the skins are dull/boring pay 1700 BFC for a different colour?
Anything half decent is in the free tiers. (the weapons)
EA/dice should let you convert BFC points to cash for a charity as they deserve nothing themselves.
We should have the option to hide the shop as nothing is worth anything to me in there!! it's all digital rubbish.
What DICE needs to do is have a team or at least give molders the ability to import maps into Portal.
