Thank you very much for shaking up old fashioned soldier class formula which grew problematic. Now instead of 2/3 of team playing with sniper rifles won't always be same kit by default. They can choose from other roles available. Also, it's interesting to see how other components of class gameplay are going to organised. I love this system already because it allows creativity within roleplayish builds. Thank you very much bringing up new blood and life into franchise! 🙌 👍 ❤️

This is both a step forward and a step back. Cool in that weapons are not limited by class anymore but then they went too far by giving them names and backstories... I want the soldier I play to be "my" soldier still, not "Boris" or "Maria". Was unnecessary to introduce rigidity in that aspect.

I like the idea in theory. I don't like that I have to choose a character like I'm playing a GI Joe video game. I would prefer BF5 customisation system where I can choose gender and appearance of the role I'm playing.

@SICIOUS Definitely, no reason to have COD style specialists with their own abilities when they're had it all be customisable in previous games.

@Teal_Pipo_Fredo Yes, the freedom within the classes are great! It creates a lot of variety and build possibilities, maybe not to the extent of what is featured in The Division franchise, but maybe more towards team composition.

Even at this point they could change it to where specialists are referred to by code names and in turn give the player back control of cosmetic and gender choices at least. Then I could still make it mine mostly.

@Teal_Pipo_Fredo I'm personally not a fan from what I've seen and heard of the specialists. We don't require an backstory to play a class and I'm frankly worried about the potential balance implications of having no class specific weapons like when DMRs were all class in BF4. Now having a support with a sniper rile sitting on an ammo box is the distinct possibility.
