The art designers in this game need calling out

There's a lot of things this game got totally wrong but the artwork for skins has to be the number one thing I despise the most about this game. It needs calling out.

Skins. Character skins, vehicle skins, weapon skins, T1 skins, paid skins. Whoever it is who comes up with these needs moving on. They're abysmal, theyre childish and they totally ruin the look of the game.

Even the standard camo skins are awful and theres hardly any to pick from.

Please do not put any.of this crap in the next battlefield. Make war look like war! PLEASE do not use shiney christmas tree bauble coloured textures on weapons and vehicles. Gold wheels, shiney red T1's, shiney teal blue's etc. This is not ******* halo.

Gun skins that look like plastic supersoaker 3000 water pistols, character skins with capes and dinosaur helmets, pink and blue jets that look like they've been wrapped in birthday gift wrapping paper etc etc, It's just total nonsense! Get rid of whoever is churning this crap out.

The milsim game modes with the old stuff in them puts 2042 to shame. 2042 is just FUBAR.

personally vote for no skins at all in the next game. Sadly it is the money maker and attracts people to the game.

I suspect that'll be the reason if they come back in the next game (which I personally think they will).

@JOGAGATYA I'm cool with selling stuff in the store as long as its not pay to win. If they offer more customisation options they could offer all sorts of mix and match options to offer us. Anything from boots to full sets.

If they're going to continue with down the path of these atrocious skins in future BF games it would be nice to have a menu option to turn them off.

@I_DYN4MO_I It's the toll we pay for a live service model. They want to make money from somewhere, after all it's still EA.

I would much rather go back to the premium model where I pay for content by means of DLC with new maps, guns and vehicles. But those days are long gone.

Also the lack of incentive to play, like weekly missions for example, makes that people look for other targets to grind out, like T1 skins.

I refuse to pay money for cosmetics, the only investment I made in this game was it's actual purchase. Unfortunately there's too many people willing to spend real money on this stuff to keep this model the preferred model over a premium model where you pay for real content.

I would go back to the Premium model in a heartbeat.

Receiving 4 new maps / guns etc every three months really helped to keep the game fresh, I really looked forward to DLC releases.

Absolutely YES to the Premium model.

At least we were guaranteed more maps along with other things too, but, 2042 after two and a half years, and we have thirteen maps, that's both unbelievable and unforgivable at the same time which is one if not the primary reason people have left because it's so boring.

@JennyB_010 They cut out a whole campaign to focus all resources on multiplayer and still ended up with less content in multiplayer than previous titles and that's not just the maps either. It's everything from gun count to a scoreboard.

This game was a total scam. They got literally everything wrong with 2042 & by the looks of it, hardly worked on it if you compare it to older titles.

They took our money and ran. They didn't even offer refunds for the state this game launched in.
At least Project Red with their Cyberpunk game owned their s*** and offered everyone a refund unlike these scam artists.
