Yes, but, if we got everyone on this forum to ask Dice to remodel the game (three months before launch) to include offline bots Dice will probably change their minds. Oops, hang-on - no they wouldn't.

Yes, after BF2 i mistakenly thought they would add Bot support, however, a decade and half later with 2042 they did it seemingly begrudgingly.
Single player campaigns have a great story to tell, but they have limited to zero replay variation.
Multiplayer has such a non linear play that changes every time you play and each game itself is unique.
Bots just add another dimension to that uniqueness that allows for play long after the mass of real players have gone on to play a newer release.
The ability to pick up an old game such as BF3, or 4 and play it with a newer faster computer and have a similar experience because of bot support is to me Valuable. If a game was released at $49.99 and just had PVP = no sale to me... but if you could upgrade to the Multiplayer with AI/offline bot support version for $69.99 I would buy it.
I like the looks and reviews of games like "SQUAD " and "HELL LET LOOSE" but they lack bot support and it is a no sale for me as I could play that type of multiplayer experience with an older version of battlefield on hardcore servers.
These are just my opinions and my opinions have cash behind them.
