If the bots will be like the bots from Star Wars Battlefront 2 co-op mode (supremacy I think) then... well we have strong opponents if not played carefully.
That's my expectation. EA has been investing in the future of EA games with SEED. This video was posted back in 2018, so I'm optimistic teams working with DICE have learned a lot since then.

Disclaimer: I have no knowledge on whether the results from this experiment is being used for 2042, but wanted to point out EA has been making commitments to this type of technology.
I understand some of the concerns players have here. I think it's best to wait and see what the future has for us in the months ahead.
Personally, I've never been that much into bots aside from some warm up games in counter-strike before jumping into a ranked match. I am more of a competitive player so I get the thrill of taking down real human opponents. On the flip side though, there are a ton of positives I already see coming out of this. Servers can help be filled more often and while some of you may have not seen these discussions in the past on our forums, there were some game modes in our previous Battlefield titles that made it difficult to complete challenges to earn exclusive rewards because later in the title's lifecycle the community always gravitated towards Conquest and Rush. Perhaps this could be a solution for situations like that.
