nice, but why isn't there an option to turn the bots off from auto filling and empty seat when the last game play ended and that player left? If that's hating the bots then so be it.

  This is not true. I have made plenty of my own custom Portal modes, ALL with PvE bots, and ALL of them earn me XP...albeit the amount is a bit restricted so I get maybe 6k-15k xp per match as a broad range, and I might average around 9K per match.
  What you do NOT earn in Portal with AI are the ribbons (and no associated ribbon xp), missions, player cards, etc.
