@InS_Hypno 100% agreed, OP as hell and need to be nerfed.
Although this is meant to be a marksman rifle, it is mostly if not only being used as an smg at close range, which is only due to the rate of fire upgrade from one of the magazine attachments providing also a larger mag, which is hilariously obvious if you compare how the BSV fires when it has the standard mag and the extended.
In my view, the extended mag attachment should be removed or exchanged for a different attachment, or, the rate of fire upgrade that comes with the attachment should be removed. This would then possibly put the weapon back into its actual class of weapons, marks-man-rifles.
Anyone who doesn't agree is wrong.
@LancySchemerActually it is the short barrel with extended / Highpower ammunition that makes this weapon hilariously op, you don’t even need the CQ ammo.
First of all they should remove the full auto function, remove the short barrel, lower the rpm on Highpower ammo and all is fine.

In the current state you could delete any weapon in the game besides maybe shotguns and ultra long sniper and just give every one the bsv, it's so versatile it can be played in almost every situation.
I really don't understand why this and the stealth heli is still in like it is with almost no balance changes...
auto snipers should not do MORE or almost the same damage as some of the other dmrs and at all it should not be possible to outplay machine pistole players so easy in close combat

I don't think they will nerf it until next season. It's a season 1 BP unlock that might incentivize players to buy tier skips and boins. It's no accident how strong it is right now.

Might be true if this was at level 80+ of the Battle Pass, but it was at level 17 IIRC and I would guess that 95+ % of all players have this weapon by now. It's really about time to nerf this weapon.
My guess is that the dev that plays the game enjoy it and don't want this to be nerfed, so they postpone the inevitable. Otherwise it will get nerfed next patch for sure.
The thing kills me in less than two seconds. But on the other side of it, I can kill people in two seconds. Its too much power for me
Just remove full auto fire and it will be more in line with the other dmr's.
Right now its an assault rifle with dmr stats and you dont need to be Einstein to understand thats a bit much. :P
