Probably the worst flow ever and I just usually feel annoyed while playing it. It's a bland ugly park with weird yellow gazebo type things with circular concrete structures. Some big ugly half a golf ball looking building in the middle with hideous neon walls. Sprinklers going off with cute little butterflies and a super annoying bridge that peeps love to toggle.Not only that they add rain to the misery of this gem. I now immediately exit when this map ques up, no chance I'm playing that again. Maybe it's just me I guess. Anybody like this map?

I also dislike that much very much. Second worst after Hourglass. But I think it just needs more cover. Maybe thrown another building or a kiosque here and there and walls or big three to provide cover.

I'm not even finding it good for infantry. Peeps parachuting on both sides from the building tops landing all over the park. 25 snipers land on the golf ball building stepping on each others junk trying to get a shot off. Peeps landing on the gazebos and you can't shoot through it. Oh and its raining lol.Man I'm steering clear I don't see much hope for it.

@WienerBeard This map is a hard skip for me.It's god awful in every way. It's like a terrible developer tried to remake Siege of Shanghai and failed miserably.This map is the definition of a shot in the back simulator. You go inside D and there's like 6000 sight lines everywhere.

This map is horrible. No where to evade snipers. Vehicles running you over. Defense has way to much battle area to use. Most maps are not designed with cover, balance, or enough destructible environment. What happened to building sandbags and barbed wire or anti tank metal obstacles? The shields from Irish are not good enough to protect 4 people

@O🤭_PanZer They should go and take a look at the bf3 and bc2 maps layout & detail. Its not 10 times better but 100 times better.

The Kaleidoscope map is just awful

I don't know, I'd personally take Kaleidoscope over Breakaway any day.

@ElliotLH Funny thing, I hate Kaleidoscope but Breakaway seem like it is almost as annoying as Hourglass (which is the worst stinker).

@cso7777 Yeah Hourglass is a strange one for me - I quite like the city sectors but don't really enjoy the desert. Breakaway just feels to me like it's got a weird flow in Breakthrough, I just can't get in to a groove when I play it.

@cornybbq2 My biggest worry are that they can perhaps cannot not put many more 'assets' on the maps (buildings what-ever) without increasing CPU-usage too much.

They have struggled with this in previous titles where some maps became to 'cpu-hungry' (BF1/BFV).

Personally I think only 3 maps are playable in conquest (as infantry), Orbital, Manifest and Discarded (they are playable not good), the rest of the maps are just awful and not fun to play most of the time.

@WienerBeard the main issue is Sundace, she just destroys any sense of flow and engagement. DICE made her beyond broken.
all she needs is to jump off a 4m height (if even that) and fly 100-200m without any real consequences. what DICE needs to do is make her at least fall 25m to activate the flipping suit and then have her either make a lot of noise if she lands anywhere near you or force her to use a parachute for the last 10-15m....
i have more ideas to rebalance that thing

You're just a terrible player with no sense of strategy.
It's easy to rush in with a mix of players playing Sundance using different payloads, furthermore, it's easy to counter snipers with smoke nades, SOFLAM for AA and AT.

And that's just the start of it.

It's just you bunch of whiney kids who just wants to run and gun, and think that's enough. Typical KDR players, go play COD instead if you want a non-tactical game.

What's really sad is if you look up Songdo Central Park on google maps there are tons of 360 panoramic views from around different parts of the park. Clicking around on different spots I realized they choose a smallish area at one of the far ends of the park with the least interesting terrain as the inspiration for the in-game map.
The extreme opposite end of the park up to about the middle is a bigger marina flanked on one side by forest and high hedged sitting areas with lots of elevation changes and on the other by groups of small buildings built in the style of traditional architecture. In other words: tons of cover.
But reproducing all that would have been a lot more work than big open flat fields and one big building in the middle. So we got what we got.
