I think it's very dumb it's not an option there is a few Xbox players I would like to play with, but I know they damn well don't want to play with PC players either like myself, there SHOULD and NEEDS to be a consoles only option without PC because I and many others I know will definitely choose that option. I have no idea why DICE would cater to the player base that will for sure cause problems for the consoles player base like you said for Apex and Warzone.
And yeah I'm sure there will be a specialist meta, as I saw someone else say everyone will be an assault with a wingsuit or grappling hook, and vehicles will be destroyed instantaneously probably as well.
We do know that everything game play related is free for everyone so specialists will not be pay to win.
Metas have always existed so new ones with specialists will be nothing new.
Whilst there are some 'concerns, until we play the beta, they are purely speculative though. I just hope it isn't another BFV hardcore lite game.
Apparant lack of console only crossplay is annoying though......
@Trokey66With BFV’s failure I’m surprised they haven’t focused on telling us why the core gameplay for this new game is different.
I’m still concerned that the ghost of BFV may be all too present in BF2042.
